General Price List The prices are effective as of November 1, 2006 Thereafter, are subject to change without notice.     Basic Professional Services Of Funeral Director and Staff              $975.00   (This fee is non-declinable) Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family and responsible parties; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notice; and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required.     Embalming              $585.00 Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law.  Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as funeral with viewing. This charge does not include visitation, or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body. This charge does not include a shipping container.   Receiving Remains From another Funeral Home  $1125.00 This charge includes local pick-up of remains, transportation of remains to cemetery and basic services of staff.   Immediate Burial  $995.00 The charge for immediate burial includes removal of remains, local transportation to the cemetery, necessary authorizations and basic services of staff. This charge does not include the use of facilities and staff for any visitation or  ceremony (public or private) prior to burial, grave opening, casket or outside container.     Direct Cremation Options   $1590.00——$4730.00 Direct cremation includes removal of the body from place of death, local transportation to crematory, necessary authorizations, and basic services for the staff. This charge does include the crematory fee. It does not include the use of facilities or staff for any visitation or ceremony (public or private), prior to the cremation. For direct cremation, you need to use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials. The containers we provide are wood and fiberboard. Other Charges: SUNDAY CHARGE: A $200.00 additional charge for burial on a Sunday. OVERTIME CHARGE: An overtime charge of $25.00 for each 1/2 hour or portion thereof, will be made for funerals reaching the cemetery after 4:00 PM. In most areas of the country , no state or local laws require you to buy an outer burial container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such container, so the grave will not sink in. The use of a burial vault or a grave liner will satisfy the cemetery requirements.  Disclaimer of Warranties “This Funeral Home makes no representations or warranties regarding to outer burial containers listed above. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
